It all started at a young age for Laura. She grew up in France, in a family where the pleasure of sharing good food was at the heart of everyday life. While her siblings and cousins were often playing outside, Laura could usually be found in the kitchen alongside her grandmothers, watching, asking questions, and lending a helping hand. That is how she learnt that exceptional recipes are not only about flavour, but also about texture and balance... obtained only with the best ingredients, and harmony between all of them.
Laura & Juriaan
Today, Good Bear Cookies is the result of Laura and Juriaan's shared vision and ambition.
Before founding Good Bear, Laura built her career in international companies, primarily in the luxury industry, where she developed an even deeper appreciation for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and beautifully finished products.
Juriaan comes from the tech industry, where he successfully helped build and grow businesses. His entrepreneurial mindset and passion for leading expansion phases of companies perfectly complement Laura's pursuit of excellence.
The team
Good Bear wouldn't be the same without this incredible team. Along the years, it has become more than just "working together". Much more.
The team is made of different personnalities, which creates daily enriching interractions and a constantly well-balanced energy between everyone.
Side note: playing intense rounds of Jungle Speed and Dobble at the end of a busy day is one of the numerous team's shared guilty pleasures.
The Bear
This custom-made bear costume was Laura's very first investment, even before she found where she could actually open the store.
The bear is present inside or in front of the store in the week-ends, during fall and winter seasons.
His mission is simple: make sure everyone arrives with a smile and leaves with an even bigger one. Always ready for a hug, a photo or a little dance, he spreads joy, good vibes and a touch of bear magic.

Our unique bear head has been designed by talented designer Tim Boelaars. It balances softness and strength. Welcoming like a teddy bear, yet strong like a grizzly.
The clean, rounded lines remind the shape of a cookie. A timeless and distinctive signature, never childish.
Our logo has been designed to live across every touchpoint : embossed into our counter, stamped onto our boxes and bags, or displayed on social media. It always feels right wherever it appears.
Giving back
When you buy a sweater from our merchandise collection, €5 is donated to bear protection.
Right before starting Good Bear, Juriaan and Laura visited the Four Paws bear sanctuary in Germany : a 16 hectars forest where mistread bears are rescued and taken care of, in the very best way.
We have so little time to spend on this Earth, let’s make sure we do our part.
Four Paws offers various ways to make a difference: donations of course, but also bear "adoption".
